We’d like to begin planning some “outside of the annual conference” programs.

One idea floated by WLA’s former IG Representative, Elizabeth Iaukea, was a TRIP Trip. Basically, the idea is to coordinate with other TRIP members to attend and meet-up at another technology-related conference or workshop in the Northwest this year.

Seeing as how budget cuts are a huge problem, there are CE grants available from the Washington State Library (check the site for details and eligibility): http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/libraries/grants/.
