One idea floated by WLA’s former IG Representative, Elizabeth Iaukea, was a TRIP Trip. Basically, the idea is to coordinate with other TRIP members to attend and meet-up at another technology-related conference or workshop in the Northwest this year.

Seeing as how budget cuts are a huge problem, there are CE grants available from the Washington State Library (check the site for details and eligibility): http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/libraries/grants/.

We’re also going to have an exciting door prize available for the Meet ‘n Greet.We are determined to increase participation in and activity in TRIP. Please plan to attend the TRIP IG meeting Thursday afternoon in the Finch room, right after lunch. Here’s a list of activities and TRIP sponsored programs (see full conference program here):
